On the fourth floor of an exquisitely renovated building near Via Veneto and the US Embassy, it has only seven rooms for a grand total of 14 guests! At the desk is Benedetta, a delightful Roman who lived in Los Angeles for four years and left her job at one of the most prestigious 5-star hotels in Rome to take care of this upscale B&B, which she cheerfully calls “her baby.” As her guests you will find the kind of friendly, dedicated service that you look for in a small charming hotel.
Everything in this delightful B&B is sleek and understated. From the silver Venetian plaster walls to the classic statues and busts to the beige and gray upholstery, the birch parquet floors and cabinets, the plasma TV screens and hidden ambient lighting, it’s all designed to counteract the hustle and bustle of downtown Rome (which lies right outside your double-paned windows!). Romance goes unbridled in the cozy rooms, each of which is fitted with a queen bed and plenty of closet space, as well as direct-dial telephone, DSL connection and safe large enough for your laptop. Every room also has a private bathroom with double rainforest shower, hair drier, telephone, terrycloth robes and a great courtesy set of Etro products. In the morning, at the time you desire, you will be served breakfast in bed with all the items you have requested the night before.
