| Public Transportation: |
Excellent! Trains come and go all day between Genoa, the Cinque Terre and Tuscany, and the station is only 200 yards from the hotel. In season, there are also boats that dock just a few minutes' walk away and stop at all the little villages between Santa Margherita and La Spezia.

| Rooms: |
54 room on 5 floors, including singles, doubles, and junior suites. Every room except two standard doubles has sea view. After a recent renovation, many of the former rooms were combined to make very spacious new guestrooms. All the rooms are clean, bright and airy, with terracotta floors, clean-lined furniture and colorful fabrics. Standard doubles usually measure about 300 square feet and some have a small balcony. Junior suites and suites measure at least 450 square feet and have a sitting area with a sleep sofa for one or two people. All the rooms except standard doubles have a bathroom between the bedroom and sitting room for more privacy. Standard junior suites are on the corner of the building and have two picture windows offering views of the mountains and the sea; deluxe junior suites are the same but with balconies instead of picture windows; both types have a double sleep sofa in the living room, which is separate from the bedroom. Superior suites are on the top floor and have a 220-square-foot panoramic terrace.
