I have received with thanks the credit card receipt for euro 30 for payment to express mail my hat from Milan to Hotel du Lac, Bellagio on 25 June last. I wish to express my gratitude and thanks for the time and care your staff in particularly Alfredo and Angelo took in retrieving my lost hat from the Cenacolo bookshop and mailing it immediately to where I was next travelling. Alfredo and Angelo’s efforts together with your hotel’s caring service were especially appreciated by my husband and I as we were only staying the one night of Sunday 22 June. Leaving by train the following day for Varenna meant that we were unable to make inquires to retrieve my hat from where I had left it when visiting Cenacolo because they were closed on the Monday.
Thank you for your kindness and efficiency. We look forward to staying at your hotel again when next we may visit Milan.
