Dear Jessica,
Please let me tell you how smooth, easy and wonderful our stay at the Historic Palermo was. It is not only one of the most comfortable houses I have stayed in, but also the service and breakfast were more than a delight. I can certainly recommend this hotel to any one.
The only tiny grudge we developed was towards the food at the kurhaus kalhesa which is praised everywhere! We managed to order one (of two) starters and two main courses which did not meet our liking, the cheese at the end topped the tastelessness- the accompanying bread was forgotten and black pepper was seen as luxury we did not earn...
Sicily nevertheless was one of the happiest, most beautiful and grandest trips I ever made, and the Historic Palermo is certainly a house I shall return to!

The hotel we booked through you in Palermo was super; stylish and pleasant. Driving there wasn't difficult at all and the hotel has its own off-street parking. It's a walk from the city centre (though not a problem unless you are very elderly or infirm, in a tearing hurry or it's the middle of August and 30 degrees by 8am), but the buses are frequent and easy to use. Palermo is a fantastic city - crumbling, decadent, chaotic and beautiful and definitely worth seeing. In booking a hotel through In Italy, I found your support excellent, friendly and responsive.
All in all, I will definitely look you up again next time I visit Italy.
