Amalfi Seaside Hotel

This charming little hotel is set right below the Amalfi Coast Drive, perched at the top of a hillside overlooking a small black sand beach with restaurants, a waterside promenade and a landing stage for fishing boats. It doesn't get much more authentic than this! From your room or your private balcony you'll be treated to views of the deep green Mediterranean foliage as well as the bright blue sea, and you can even look right down on Sophia Loren's private villa! The same enchanting sights await you at breakfast or over a candlelit dinner at the restaurant, which you will enjoy after an unforgettable day visiting nearby Amalfi or Positano. If you are planning to be here from June to September, we recommend a day at the beach below the hotel: there are 150 steps down, but the experience of swimming on the Amalfi Coast definitely makes it worth the effort!

Location: 4 km from Amalfi; 15 km from Positano. The SITA bus from Amalfi or Sorrento stops 20 yards away so you do not need a car to stay here, but if you are planning to do a lot of sightseeing it might be easier. By car, Praiano is 15 minutes away, Positano 20-30 minutes, Salerno rail station 32 km, Naples Airport 70 km. In warmer months, boats go up and down the coast and to Capri daily from Amalfi.
